Cam Argetsinger wanted to create a "Mini Nurburgring" and insisted the course he laid out was more challenging than many in Europe at the time. Drive the old course you might believe him.

Horrible on tires though. It's a special texture on the concrete that the Navy uses to help slow down the big planes that land there. So both the grip and drift guys are burning through tires faster.
